Donations
I'Mpolite Company aims to donate the maximum amount of gross revenue consistent with being able to sustain the company's operations. Every item sold online calls for a minimum donation of $1.00. The percentage of gross revenue we donate per item will usually come to between 5-15% of your purchase price*
We are constantly sourcing and creating high-quality goods with a sufficient margin to meet the requirements of our donation model. If we can't do that, we don't sell it.
We stay on top of market conditions and use a varied network of vendors and manufacturers, taking advantage of bulk purchases, shipping efficiencies and one-off opportunities. In addition, for our locally based point of sale activities we aim to partner with retailers who agree to operate under a 1-1-1 operating partnership, where a third of the sale is vendor profit, a third is I'Mpolite Company cost recovery and a third goes to the designated charitable organization.
