Where is I'mPolite Company based?
Boston, MA and the internet
How did you choose your name?
Oh, we can't talk about that "in polite company! That phrase has echoed in many a household and has served to silence voices that deserve to be heard. And it has been used to keep all kinds of people on the sidelines. Who has the right to determine what is 'polite anyway'? Why do those words always seem to narrow the discussion instead of broadening it?
So "I'mPolite" company tweaks the phrase, emphasizing that all kinds of people have the right to stand up and be included as a matter of course. Do you think that is impolite of us? Well ....it takes all kinds.

Where do the dragons come from?

They come from the imagination, my darling....oh, alright we give. The original drawings that started it all were from the hand of a trans youth artist who wanted to convey joy and sweetness as well as a certain mischievous vibe. Since they are a minor and not desirous of internet publicity we aren't including their name here. The drawings were turned into our logo while keeping the spirit of the originals intact. The original artist remains involved in the process as well.

Do the dragons have names?
They do. But we don't know them. Aren't they cute?
Love all this, but what is your return policy if there is a problem?
We take great pride in what we sell and want to see you satisfied. That being said, if you order the wrong size that's going to be on you, and if you try and return it we will breathe fire on you and eat you.
On the other hand, notify us immediately if there is any kind of manufacturing defect and we will see about getting you a replacement as soon as possible. We are unable to give cash refunds. Use our contact link for help and assistance with customer service.
What gender are the dragons?
Well, they are mythical creatures drawn from imagination. So we aren't really sure. But they are pretty comfortable with their identities as drawn. In fact, they are just as comfortable with themselves as you are.

I see a pitchfork and a halo. Are the Dragons religious?
Nope, not at all. Remember those cartoons where a character is wrestling with a dilemma and for the comic effect, you had the two little creatures on the shoulder making their case? That is as close as we get. We do kinda worship at the altar of pop culture, but that is another discussion.
What will the Dragons bring us next?
Oooh...that is a fun one. We want to open up our horizons as soon as possible. You can look for us to create a sports line featuring similar inclusive messages for specific sports, as well as a "Dragon Thoughts" line featuring public domain images and quotations we think are worth circulating widely. Also, we will introduce local city options online. And if you are a retailer, we can adapt the logo to your city.
